Doug's Dojang offers a variety of session types to suit individuals, families, teams and corporate groups. 

Mobile Dojang available! Doug can come to schools, early learning centres, workplaces, sports clubs and more.

TAEKWON-DO CLUB

Join our regular club training in a supportive and friendly environment.  Learn the Korean Martial Art designed for self-defence, and experience the benefits of self-confidence, fitness, better coordination and more.  

 

Training occurs at Bauhinia House on Tuesdays & Thursdays and at the Simpson Street hall on Saturdays. Members can choose one, two or three sessions a week. Prospective new club members are eligible for a two-week free trial.

CORPORATE SESSIONS

Looking for something different in staff training? Build your team's skills and rapport with a self-defence, awareness and empowerment session.

Expect a hands-on, practical activities session supported by quality training resource handouts.

​

These sessions are great for annual retreats, planning or induction days or team-building.  The content and timing can be tailored to suit your needs.

PERSONAL TRAINING

You can rely on Doug to help you reach your fitness and personal goals - no matter where you start from.  These exercise sessions are perfect for everyday people looking to improve themselves in mind and body.

These sessions revolve around cardio through bagwork (kicking and punching), core development and/or muscle development using your own bodyweight, as well as stretching and lifestyle changes. All techniques will be adapted to suit your current stage of health, fitness and life.

Book in for a trial session -- available at a range of venues or Doug can come to you.

Experience Doug's one-on-one exercise series over six weeks, to get back into your best you.  Convenient, individualised sessions for everyday people, without having to visit a public gym or pay membership fees.  Now open for bookings - limited places available.

GROUP FITNESS

Get your team ready for their best, pre-season or during competition. 

 

Group fitness session with Doug will involve a high intensity workout, core development and a focus on building team spirit.   

 

Session times typically run from 30 minutes to 90 minutes, or other lengths to suit your needs.

All equipment is supplied and Doug can come to your location.   Insurance details and other credentials available on request.

TAEKWON-DO
COACHING

Learn from Mr Swain's extensive experience to hone your skills before gradings, tournaments or other events.  Spend quality 1:1 time on technical aspects of your patterns, sparring, breaking and special techniques.  

​

These sessions are all about you and your development - bring your Taekwon-do questions and enjoy learning more about the art from Mr Swain.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

As a born and raised local, Doug believes in giving back to Rockhampton and the CQ region.  He has also lived with Type 1 diabetes for over 30 years.

​

Ask about low or no-cost guest speaking sessions on topics relating to awareness, self-defence, empowerment, living with chronic disease and taking care of your body and yourself.
